Terms of Service

Last updated: September 19, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CordenX ("we", "us", "our"), including our Minecraft server hosting, Discord bot hosting, Discord bot programming, and Minecraft add-on/plugin programming services (the "Services"), available at https://docs.cordenx.xyz.

CordenX is operated by an individual, not an incorporated company. By creating an account, placing an order, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must accept these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for all charges and activity on the account.
  • You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including actions taken by anyone you give access to your panel, server, or bot — including sub-users you invite.
  • We may refuse service, or terminate an account, at our discretion, including where we suspect fraud, ban evasion, or if a prior account was terminated for a Terms violation.

2. The Services

We provide:

  • Minecraft server hosting — dedicated resources (CPU, RAM, disk) on a Pterodactyl-based panel to run Java/Bedrock Minecraft servers.
  • Discord bot hosting — a runtime environment to keep your Discord bot online.
  • Discord bot programming — custom bot development on request, priced and scoped separately per order.
  • Minecraft add-on/plugin programming — custom plugin or add-on development on request, priced and scoped separately per order.

Specifications (RAM, CPU, storage, ports) for hosting plans are agreed upon during order setup and may change with notice. Custom development work is scoped in writing (via support ticket, invoice, or order form) before work begins; that scope controls if it conflicts with general statements in these Terms.

We do not guarantee 100% uptime. We target 99% uptime excluding scheduled maintenance, and we are not liable for outages caused by our upstream datacenter provider, DDoS attacks, or events outside our reasonable control. Scheduled maintenance will be announced where practical via our Discord server or panel notice.

3. Acceptable Use Policy & Strict Prohibitions

You may not use the Services to:

Prohibited Discord Bot Activities (Strict Enforcement)

  • No Self-Bots: Running Discord self-bots (automating user accounts) is strictly prohibited and results in instant termination.
  • No Cussing / Swearing / Vulgar Bots: Running bots designed to spam profanity, bypass content filters, produce offensive language, or generate hate speech is strictly forbidden.
  • No NSFW / Adult Content Bots: Running bots that display, fetch, host, generate, or distribute NSFW, adult, or explicit content is strictly prohibited.
  • Violation of Discord Terms: Running bots that violate Discord's Terms of Service, Developer Policy, or Community Guidelines (including token grabbers, spam bots, raid tools, or nukers).

Prohibited Infrastructure & Minecraft Activities

  • Host or distribute cracked, pirated, or unlicensed copies of Minecraft, plugins, mods, resource packs, or other software.
  • Send spam, phishing content, or malware, or use our infrastructure to distribute malicious payloads.
  • Launch, host, or participate in DDoS attacks, botnets, stressers/booters, port scanning, or network abuse — including "testing" your own or a friend's server.
  • Mine cryptocurrency using our infrastructure under any circumstances.
  • Engage in illegal activity, or host/process content that is illegal in the country your node is located in, the country you reside in, or the United Arab Emirates and other Gulf jurisdictions where we serve customers.
  • Host or distribute child sexual abuse material, content promoting terrorism or extremism, or material violating applicable cybercrime laws — this results in immediate termination without notice and a report to law enforcement.
  • Attempt to access another customer's server, files, panel account, or database without authorization, or attempt to escalate privileges on the shared platform.
  • Harass, dox, or threaten our staff, other customers, or players connecting to your server.

Violation of any rule in this section results in immediate service suspension or termination without a refund.

4. Resource Usage and Fair Use

Plans are sized for typical Minecraft server and Discord bot workloads. We may throttle, suspend, or ask you to upgrade a service that:

  • Consistently exceeds its allocated CPU, RAM, disk I/O, or bandwidth in a way that degrades the shared node for other customers.
  • Generates an abnormal volume of outbound network traffic or connections.
  • Runs processes unrelated to the purpose of the plan (e.g., using a Minecraft hosting plan as a general-purpose compute box).

Where possible, we will warn you and offer an upgrade path before suspending for resource overuse alone.

5. DDoS and Network Attacks

We apply reasonable network-level protections, but we do not guarantee immunity from DDoS attacks. We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or degraded performance caused by an attack targeting your service or the network. Repeated attacks targeting your service may result in suspension if they materially affect other customers.

6. Customer Content and Responsibility

You retain ownership of the worlds, configurations, plugins, bot code, and files you upload ("Customer Content"). You are solely responsible for:

  • Backing up your own Customer Content in full.
  • Complying with Minecraft's EULA/Mojang guidelines and Discord's Developer Terms.
  • Any data your Minecraft server or Discord bot collects from its players/users (player IPs, UUIDs, Discord IDs). You are the data controller for that data.
  • Moderating your own server or bot, including player disputes, griefing, and chat moderation.

7. No Automated Backups

We do not run automated backups of your server, world, database, or bot files. Any backup functionality visible in the panel is provided as a convenience tool for you to configure and run yourself on a best-effort basis.

You are entirely responsible for:

  • Creating your own backup schedule using the tools available in the panel.
  • Downloading and storing copies off our infrastructure.
  • Testing that your backups actually restore correctly.

We are not liable for any data loss, however caused — including hardware failure, node migration, panel bugs, account suspension, non-payment, or human error.

8. Billing, Renewals, and Refunds

  • Currency: All prices, invoices, and payments are processed in US Dollars (USD $).
  • Automated Renewals: Services renew automatically on the billing cycle selected unless cancelled beforehand through your account panel.
  • Non-Payment: If payment fails, your service may be suspended after 3 days and terminated (with data permanently deleted) after 7 days of non-payment.
  • Refunds: Hosting plan purchases may be refunded within 24 to 48 hours of initial order provided the service has not been abused. Custom development work is non-refundable once development has begun.
  • Chargebacks: Chargebacks or payment disputes filed without contacting support first result in immediate account termination and permanent bans.

9. Custom Development Work (Bots & Add-ons)

  • Scope, price, and delivery timeline are agreed upon in writing before work begins (via Discord ticket or order summary).
  • Ownership of custom code transfers to you upon full payment in USD. Until payment is received, CordenX retains ownership.
  • We do not guarantee custom code will remain compatible with future Minecraft or Discord API updates unless a separate maintenance plan is purchased.
  • Scope changes requested after development has started will be quoted separately as new orders.

10. IP Addresses, Ports, and Subdomains

Any IP address, port, or subdomain assigned to your service remains our property and is licensed to you only during an active subscription. IP addresses, ports, and subdomains are reclaimed immediately upon cancellation or termination.

11. Third-Party Dependencies

Our Services depend on infrastructure and APIs we do not control (upstream datacenters, Mojang/Microsoft, and Discord). We are not liable for outages, rate limits, or policy changes originating from these third parties, or for Discord/Mojang banning a bot or plugin that violates their platform guidelines.

12. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

  • The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We are not affiliated with Mojang, Microsoft, or Discord Inc.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, CordenX is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost data or profit).
  • Our total liability for any claim is limited to the total amount you paid us in USD during the 3 months prior to the claim.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued usage of our Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
